The Sunday School has two upcoming opportunities for students this summer, both taking place during Coffee Hour (during the time slot normally used for Sunday School during the school year). Regular Sunday School will reconvene on Sunday, Sept 13.

 

For Preschool-1st grade : We will hold a special four week class to teach the kids about the Orthodox "days of the week" (Monday for the Angels, Tuesday for St. John the Baptist, Wednesday/Friday for the Cross, etc). The kids will learn some songs and make a booklet together. The class will be led by 6th grader, Fiona, with help and support from parents. This class will be in the kindergarten classroom and will be held on the Sundays : 8/9, 8/16, 8/23, and 8/30

 

For 2nd grade and up : We will hold a four week Youth Choir Workshop. The workshop will cover liturgical hymns, music for the Nativity Pageant, and an introduction to choral parts. The Workshop will be held on the Sundays: 8/16, 8/23, 8/30, and 9/6
